While at Stitches West, Diana and I were invited to do an interview with Jenny and Nicole who host the podcast "Stash and Burn", www.stashandburn.com . It's our first ever online interview and it was a lot of fun. We are in Episode 48 at about minute 14:40. Check it out and let us know what you think.
For those of you who don't know about podcasts, they are digital voice recordings of folks talking about their favorite subject. There are podcasts about every topic imaginable. Of course Stash and Burn is about yarn and knitting...our favorite topic. You can listen to podcasts on your computer or you can upload them to your MP3 player and listen while you exercise, knit, drive, etc. They are VERY fun. There are actually quite a few knitting related podcasts. If you haven't tried them before I highly recommend giving them a try!
Happy knitting!

Just discovered this blog via Stash & Burn. Happy 15th anniversary! I just finished my fourth pair of socks using Bearfoot. I know all the names of each of the colors -- Ruby River, Red Tail Hawk, Alpine, and Wilderness -- because they are both evocative of Montana and beautiful. I hope to get to Corvallis one of these days. -- Avice
After listening to the interview while on a walk in my neighborhood in Virginia Beach I cooked up an idea for a new color scheme . . . "Spring Lawn" would have three shades of bright greens in it (kelly/a slightly yellowed kelly/a deeper blued kelly the color of clover) as well as very small pops of white (to represent clover flowers) and a few small pops of very bright yellow (the color of dandelion flowers. maybe this could be a new colorway someday. Thanks for making great yarns!
